Red Hot Hot Rod
Lots of people doing really cool rebuilds on aircooled Porsches these days. Big brands playing with the 930, 964 and 993 so it's nice to see when an earlier car gets some really massaging.
Pete reach out to Augment Wheels and described his 1974 911 build. An homage to the IROC cars that were not just pretty, but that got driven and raced. Classic styling was on order but updated, given the restomod nature of the build
Centerlock FUCHish Flat. Our take on the classic Porsche wheel. This set designed specificially to the new specs of this chassis. The entire suspension and braking systems have been updated so no off-the-shelf option was going to work. Add to that the introduction of our centerlock adapter set and you end up with something completely bespoke, 1-0f-1
This set of 15" beauties includes the rears (15x11) and fronts (15x8.5) and one space saver spare for the frunk...probably the cutest little thing you have ever seen before complete with its own centerlock adapter. Wheel finishing includes out RSR-esque satin silver with machined outer lip and adapters are anodized black, sure to look good for years and years.
And while this thing looks good, it must be noted that it also boogies, because powering this thing is a rebuilt 3.8L from a 993
Love the attention to detail and while we can't share every photo we received from the owner, we can tell you that no nut was left untreated, not corner cut and the end result is a flawless example of porsche passion (and perhaps some deep pockets)
Do you have deep pockets? Rumour has it this car is available for purchase should it be to your liking. Check out @cobblestoneclassics on instagram for details.
